Mr. Nayana N. Mawilmada, Founder and Managing
Director
Mr. Nayana Mawilmada is a multidisciplinary professional with
expertise in management, urban development, water supply, tourism development,
housing, real estate finance and investment, tourism development, and
project management. Nayana’s 15 years of international professional
experience spans 16 countries, including the
Dr. Sithara Atapattu, Director, Business Development
Sithara is a multi-disciplinary professional with immense experience in project management, communications, workshop organization and research. Trained as a coastal ecologist, Sithara has a BSc. In Environmental studies from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, and PhD in coral reef ecology from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Her professional experience spans the management, coordination and administration of large scale international projects for International Water Management Institute (IWMI) as well as work as an independent consultant for international aid agencies. Prior to joining TMS, she was deputy team leader for the ADB-funded Technical Assistance to the Ministry of Environment, which formulated Sri Lanka’s first National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. Sithara has a consistent research and publication record in both coastal ecology and integrated water resource management, and has been a member of the Institute of Environmental Professionals of Sri Lanka since its inception in 2006.
